DIR Founder

David Rocha founded Austin, Texas-based DIR in 2021. David is a mechanical engineer with over 20 years of experience as an energy engineering professional. He has a background in performing energy audits, measurement & verification (M&V), engineering design, retro-commission (Cx), design-build, and energy consulting with utilities.

He has extensive experience implementing energy retrofit projects, chiller plant optimizations solutions, and control systems integration for critical facilities such as data centers and industrial.
